General Terms:

The Ballet Stage Online Junior Dancer Competition is organized by Saltare Partners FZ-LLC.
-
The registered applicant or participant of the Ballet Stage Junior Dancer Competition is to be referred to as the “Participant”.
-
His/Her Parent or legal representatives or guardian of applicants below 18 years of age will be referred to as the “Participant”.

Competition is held across three age groups between Female and Male competitors as follows:
- Females aged 10-12 years old on demi-pointe soft shoes
- Females aged 12-14 years old on pointe shoes
- Females aged 15-18 years old on pointe shoes
- Males aged 10-12 years old
- Males aged 12-14 years old
- Males aged 15-18 years old -
Male and Female participants across each of the age groups will compete together.

Pleas note, this competition is for variations from "Classical Ballet Repertoires Only". Others will not qualify.

To participate in the competition please submit your Online Application Form by 16th November 2024.

The Application Form includes the link for the required photo and video submissions of the Participant submitting the Form.
Photo Requirements:

The Participant should upload two (2) color photographs with a clear background when filling out the Application Form. Images must be in high-resolution format.

First photo – In Portrait format with clear background. “Selfies” are not acceptable.

Second photo – Is a staged photo in a ballet position that shows the line of the body (Professional photoshoot not required)
- The photograph should be taken in a ballet studio. Female's posing on demi-pointe or pointe depending on group vs Males on half-toes. -
Photos should be sized correctly, displayed the right way up.

Include the Participants full name in the file name of the photograph - Use jpg, jpeg or png file format and make sure that individual images do not exceed 10MB in file size.
Video Requirements:

Participant to submit link for video recording of the variation/Pas de Deux from classical ballet repertoire.
- Use of old recordings not allowed (Under 4 months). -
The video should be taken in a ballet studio. Videos from other concerts, competitions, masterclasses etc. must not be used.

Performance of variation/ Pas de Deux is possible both in a stage costume (preferable), and proper ballet attire. The use of “Makeup” is at the discretion of the Participant.

Please note that a high-quality recording makes it possible to objectively evaluate the Participant and increases His/Her chances of a true or positive assessment by the competition Jury.

Please ensure that your whole body is in the frame of the video, and you are dancing in a clear and safe space. You can record your video on a camera or a phone/tablet. For phone or tablet users, devices should be set horizontally. Do not use the zoom function as this can make the image quality unclear.

Upload the video to "YouTube" and include the link in the Application Form. Video links should be unlisted, not private.

When submitting the online application form, the Participants consent to the processing of personal data (processing and use of personal data, dissemination of personal data and providing access to third parties to personal data).

Participants/Competitors will be judged based on their artistry and technical skill abilities.

By submitting your application form, all participants grant permission to the production company, and related audition sponsors, organizers, management, third party affiliates and producers to use any personal photographs/video content without expecting payment or compensation for the purpose of public relations, marketing, TV, and advertising or other...

After completing the application form you will receive a confirmation email with payment link to confirm your participation.

Participation fee of AED 140, including all taxes (which is approximately EURO 35.00) or it will not be processed.

Participants from Ukraine can enter free of charge and should not proceed with payment (Birth Certificate/Passport required).

The allocation of prizes is carried out at the final meeting by the competition jury. The decision of the jury is final and is not subject to revision.

Final results will be published on our website and sent to participants via email by 30th November 2024.
