Offering Ballet School Artists and Novice Dancers the opportunity to receive world-class Ballet training from Professional Teachers and renowned Artists Nina Ananiashvili, Stéphane Phavorin & Denis Matvienko
This intensive 2 week long program is designed to provide valuable knowledge in the field of both Classical and Duo dance, allowing participants to refine their technique and acting skills alongside two experienced Artists who have performed their Classical repertoire across different versions and interpretations
Nina, Stéphane and Denis have worked a lifetime with world-renowned Theatres and understand what it takes to succeed in Ballet

We offer a combination of four legendary Ballet Schools, including the Paris Opera Ballet School, the Moscow State Ballet School (Bolshoi Theatre), the Vaganova Ballet Academy of Russia (Mariinsky Theatre), the Tbilisi State School of Ballet Art named after V.Chebukiani, and the Kiev State Choreographic School
Our outstanding teachers have worked with theatres such as the the Paris Opéra Ballet, the London’s Royal Ballet, and the Colón Theatre Ballet (Buenos Aires), the American Ballet (New York), the Royal Ballet (London), the Opera Garnier (Paris), the New National Theatre in Tokyo, and Theatre las Calos (Milan), and have performed productions by internationally known choreographers such as Balanchine, Robbins, Pina Bausch, William Forsythe, Mats Ek, Twyla Tharp, Jiri Kilian and Sir William McMillan, among others
The program is equally also a great opportunity for Ballet Couples to enhance their Duet skills through specialized Duet Classes. Participants will develop much greater self-awareness, a far deeper understanding of personal capabilities, strengths, areas needing improvement, and unique attributes as a solid dancer, growing in confidence throughout the program. Every day participants will finish with one hour stretching class to improve mobility of joints and flexibility of muscles
Olga Smirnova - Principal of the Dutch National Ballet will be our special guest on 15th and 16th July, giving participants of the 1st week an opportunity to attend classical and pointe-technique class
Exclusively for professional dancers Olga will give an afternoon masterclass which can be booked for 1 or 2 days. More details can be found in the schedule further below...

This group is designed for junior dancers who are looking to develop and master their fundamental ballet skills with professional ballerina of Hungarian National Ballet Ganna Muromtseva!
You will also have the opportunity to receive an additional workshop with Ganna on how to prepare pointe shoes for work as beginner ballerinas often have many questions about how to choose the right shoe model, size, and of course how to properly sew ribbons and elastics and do everything necessary for graceful steps in pointe shoes. Ganna will share her knowledge, experience, and secrets with you!
All participants must have only their own pointe shoes with them. The Ballet.Stage team will provide the remaining materials...

To apply to the Ballet Stage Summer Intensive Masterclass, participants must complete an Online Application Form which is available on the event's website. Along with applications, participants should upload a portrait photo with a clear background.

Participants who are professional, semi-professional, or have completed at least one year of full-time training for a career in dance and are 13 years or older by the start of the masterclass are eligible to apply.

The deadline for applications is 15th June 2024. As places are limited, we recommended to apply as soon as possible!

Participant must inform of any allergies or health problems and submit an accompanying letter via email to info@balletstage.com

During submission of the application, a deposit or full admission must be paid to guarantee the admission.

If paying a deposit, the remaining balance must be paid by 15th May 2024.
