Valeryia is a highly experienced teacher, ballet master, and choreographer with a distinguished career in classical ballet. With over a decade of experience as a Principal Dancer at the Bolshoi Theatre Ballet Company in Minsk, she has performed a wide range of iconic roles, including Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Myrtha in Giselle, and Gulnara in Le Corsaire. Valeryia’s professional journey spans teaching, choreography, and performance, making her a respected figure in the dance community

VALERYIA VAPNIARSKAYA

She currently teaches classical ballet and repertoire at the AUB Ukrainian Ballet Academy in Milan, following her previous tenure at the Russian Ballet College in Genoa. Valeryia has worked with notable dancers and choreographers, including collaborations with La Scala’s principal dancers and renowned choreographers like Yuri Grigorovich and JiÅ™í Kylián

As a passionate educator, she has trained numerous students who have gone on to successful careers, including soloist positions at prestigious companies such as the Bolshoi Theatre and the National Theatre of Warsaw. Her choreography portfolio includes works like Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Chopiniana, showcasing her creative versatility

Valeryia holds a degree in Pedagogy/Ballet Mastery and a diploma in Professional Dance and Teaching from the National Dance Academy in Belarus. Fluent in Russian, Italian, and English, she brings a positive, goal-oriented, and empathetic approach to her teaching and choreography, always striving to inspire the next generation of dancers
